Quarterly leadership sessions take place virtually in January, April, and July, focusing on strategic planning and global participation.

It encourages open dialogue and constructive criticism between Alliance member organizations and the Youth Board, ensuring that all members are accountable for their environmental and societal impact.
The doctrine also highlights the importance of youth leadership in driving sustainability efforts and ensuring that the voices of the next generation are central in shaping the future. By promoting collaboration, transparency, and youth engagement, the Haugland Doctrine aims to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collective action towards a more sustainable future.
