THE ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS

The Earth Prize is a $100,000 environmental sustainability competition open to teenage students worldwide, and the world’s largest environmental competition for young people. Across its first five annual editions it has seen participation from teams in 169 countries and territories. It aims to inspire and empower the next generation of environmental leaders and innovators, creating a global platform for sharing and scaling their solutions.

The $100,000 prize fund is awarded each edition as follows: seven regional winners — one from each region — receive $12,500 each to develop and implement their idea; three Mentors of the Year receive $2,500 each, voted for by the competition’s participants; and $5,000 is allocated to the Educator Hub for teachers and educators registered in the competition. The regions are Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America, and Central & South America.
