The Earth Prize

THE ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS

The Earth Prize is a $100,000+ environmental sustainability competition open to teenage students worldwide, and the world’s largest environmental competition for young people. Across its first five annual editions, teams from 169 countries and territories have taken part. It aims to inspire and empower the next generation of environmental leaders and innovators, creating a global platform for sharing and scaling their solutions.

Each edition, the prize pool is split across several categories. Seven Regional Winners, one each from Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America, and Central & South America, receive $10,000 each to develop and implement their idea. 35 Scholars, 12 Continuation Fund recipients, and 10 educators accepted into the Accelerator Programme run by the Educators’ Lab each receive $500. Twelve Mentors of the Month also receive $500 each, selected through a combination of student votes, mentor impact, and involvement across the community, including student support, participation, and attendance at sessions and workshops.
