THE ENVIRONMENTAL COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS

The Earth Prize is a $104,500 environmental sustainability competition open to teenage students worldwide, and the world’s largest environmental competition for young people. Across its first five annual editions it has seen participation from teams in 169 countries and territories. It aims to inspire and empower the next generation of environmental leaders and innovators, creating a global platform for sharing and scaling their solutions.

The Earth Prize distributes a total prize pool of $100,000+ each edition, split across several categories: seven regional winners — one from each region — each receive $10,000 to develop and implement their idea; 35 Scholars and 12 Continuation Fund recipients each receive $500; 12 Mentors of the Month, voted for by the competition’s participants, each receive $500; and 10 educators registered in the competition each receive $500. The regions are Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America, and Central & South America.
